📅 À partir du 1er mai 2026, le droit de timbre pour demander la nationalité française évolue.

❓ Ce qu’il faut savoir :

💶 Le montant du timbre fiscal passera de 55€ à 255 euros. En Guyane, ce montant est fixé à 127,50 euros.

🇫🇷 Cette mesure concerne toutes les procédures : naturalisation, réintégration, déclaration par mariage, ascendant ou frère/sœur de Français.

You are in the above-mentioned situation ? Here are the steps to follow:

Check if the country where these documents were issued has an agreement exempting it from the requirement for an apostille. For example, British documents are not required to be apostilled due to the Franco-British bilateral agreement of 3rd April 1937.

If there is no agreement, apply for an apostille from the relevant authority.

Once you have the documents required (along with the Apostilles if they are required too) contact a sworn translator using the lists provided by the Courts of Appeal (https://www.courdecassation.fr/experts-agrees-par-les…). You are not required to contact a translator who lives near you.
